Abalone

Abalone is a two-player abstract strategy game where the goal is to push your opponent’s marbles off the edge of the hexagonal board. It’s a modern classic that combines tactical movement, spatial reasoning, and psychological play.

How to Play:

1. Each player starts with 14 marbles — one side black, the other white — placed in a specific formation.

2. On your turn, you may move one, two, or three marbles at a time.

3. Marbles can be moved one step in line (straight) or one step sideways.

4. To push your opponent’s marbles, you must line up a majority (e.g., three of your marbles against two of theirs).

5. The objective is to push six of your opponent’s marbles off the edge of the board before they do the same to you.
