Skull King

Description

Skull King is a trick-taking card game filled with pirate-themed adventure, strategy, and risk. Created by Grandpa Beck’s Games, it combines elements of classic trick-taking gameplay (like Hearts or Spades) with exciting pirate twists — featuring mermaids, pirates, the Skull King, the Kraken, and the White Whale.

Each round, players predict (or "bid") how many tricks they will win, and success depends on accurately matching that prediction. With each round, the stakes and difficulty rise, demanding smart play and a bit of daring.

⚓ How to Play (Briefly)

1. Each player is dealt cards based on the round number (1 card in round 1, 2 in round 2, etc.).

2. Before playing, everyone bids how many tricks they think they can win that round.

3. Players then play cards in a trick-taking format — highest card or special character card wins the trick.

4. At the end of the round, players score points for accurately matching their bid (and lose points if they’re wrong).

5. After 10 rounds, the player with the highest total score wins.
