The Resistance

Description:
The Resistance is a social deduction and bluffing game by Don Eskridge, set in a futuristic dystopian world where a secret group of freedom fighters is battling against a corrupt government. Players must work together to complete missions — but some among them are spies trying to sabotage the resistance from within.

This game is all about trust, deception, and deduction. There are no dice or luck — only logic, conversation, and strategy. Every round, players must decide who to send on missions, debate who can be trusted, and uncover the traitors before it’s too late.

How to Play (Briefly):

1. Assign Roles: Players are secretly divided into Resistance Operatives and Government Spies.

2. Propose a Team: Each round, one player (the leader) selects a group to go on a mission.

3. Vote: All players vote to approve or reject the mission team.

4. Mission Outcome: If approved, the selected players secretly decide whether the mission succeeds or fails.

   • Resistance members must choose success.

   • Spies can choose to fail the mission — but doing so might expose them!

5. Win:

   • The Resistance wins by completing three successful missions.

   • The Spies win if three missions fail or if they deceive the group into losing trust.
