The Resistance: Avalon is a social deduction board game designed by Don Eskridge and published by Indie Boards & Cards.
It is a standalone spinoff of The Resistance, set in the world of King Arthur and his legendary knights.

Players take on secret roles—either loyal servants of Arthur, who aim to complete quests for good, or minions of Mordred, who seek to sabotage those quests.
Deception, logic, and social intuition are key: players must deduce who is trustworthy while hiding their own identities.

The game blends hidden roles, bluffing, and team strategy, making it a favorite among fans of games like Mafia and Werewolf.

⚔️ How to Play (Brief Overview)

1. Setup

   • Players receive a secret role card—either Good (Arthur’s loyalists) or Evil (Mordred’s minions).

   • Some special roles, like Merlin (knows the evil players) and Assassin (tries to identify Merlin), may be included.

2. Game Rounds

   • Each round, a leader proposes a team to go on a quest.

   • All players vote to approve or reject the team.

   • If approved, those on the team secretly choose Success or Fail.

3. Quest Results

   • If all cards are Success, the quest succeeds.

   • If even one Fail card appears, the quest fails (except in some special cases).

4. Winning the Game

   • The Good side wins if three quests succeed.

   • The Evil side wins if three quests fail — or if they correctly assassinate Merlin at the end of the game.
